As you may know, I’m working at eNovance and am happy to participate to an OpenStack in action session. This this the 4th edition and will be based in Paris.
I’m currently working on Ceph and OpenStack for clients and this kind of events are important to be up to date on OpenStack.

mysql -u<user> -p<password> --one-database <database_name> < backup-`date +%y%m%d`.sql I’ve added it to my wiki as well.

I’m happy to receive the new Nexus 5 today. I love the Nexus 4 but…do not have enough space on it, even with the 16G version.
So I have bought the 32G and will be happy to get the photo stabilizer. Those are the major enhancement that makes me take the new Nexus.
I’m waiting the Cyanogen ROM to get all advanced features I like and hope it will be available soon.
I’ve recently updated some of my tutorials :
Stress : CPU test usage
Firefox Sync Server : upgrade procedure updated
AutoFS : adding FTP (curlfs)
Kernel compilation : updated with the latest compression format
PuppetDB : updated to work with the latest PuppetDB version
SSH : how to change your ssh key passphrase
The lego calendar is a wall mounted time planner that we invented for our studio. It’s made entirely of lego, but if you take a photo of it with a smartphone all of the events and timings will be magically synchronised to an online, digital calendar. It makes the most of the tangibility of physical objects, and the ubiquity of digital platforms, and it’s also puts a smile on our faces when we use it!
Redshift adjusts the color temperature of your screen according to your surroundings. This may help your eyes hurt less if you are working in front of the screen at night.
Two of my colleagues (Julien and Axel) praise virtues of this application. So I started to use it yesterday. For the moment, my opinion is good during the night, but during the day…I don’t have opinion for the moment.
Here is my configuration.
Since I’ve reinstalled my desktop on my new MacBook Pro 13, I had to fight with some problems with my Yubikey. I never had such and wonder if it couldn’t comes from a Debian package update.
Anyway, I had problem with permissions on the USB device and found a udev solution. I’ve updated my documentation and let you check and would like a feedback if some of you have encountered the same issue (USB error: Access denied (insufficient permissions))
