MariaDB: Writing my first book

Some of you may already know that I’ve been contacted by Packt Publishing to write a book. As every aware persons asked me why I was contacted, here is the story : When I was working for Linagora, I gave a training on advanced usage on MySQL/MariaDB. Unfortunately there weren’t slides on that subject at this moment and I had to make them all. That’s what I did and made an unbranded version for me as well.

Un petit post en français car ça ne concerne que les français :-). Free vient d’activer la 4G, la levée des 3G à 20G de data et c’est gratuit ! Connectez vous à votre compte, allez dans les options et activez là…facile. Merci encore une fois Free ! Il reste encore la qualité du réseau global a améliorer et ça sera parfait :-)

Back from holidays

Some of you already told me how complicated the setup of my software configurations could be. Depending on which configuration you’re talking about, it may be more or less complicated to install in the good folders, launching the good commands etc… In addition, sometimes I need to set up a quick desktop environment with my preferences and deploy all I need may take a while. That’s why I’ve written some scripts (in Python and shell script) to help on deploying all my configuration and all the packages I wish.
